Ronald McDonald House Charities New York Metro has been chosen to participate in the NY Islanders’ Hockey with a Heart program. As a partner organization, we will receive a portion of the 50/50 raffle tickets sold during the NY Islanders vs. Calgary Flames game on Saturday, February 10th and we need your help to make this event a breakaway success!
What
RMHC NYM staff will have a table on the concourse with pop up signage and information for distribution.
Volunteers will be situated around the concourse to help sell 50/50 raffle tickets from the time doors open through the end of the 2nd intermission.
Volunteers will have to stand most of the time when selling the 50/50 and should be comfortable speaking in a loud, clear voice.
When & Where
Saturday, February 10th
Volunteers to arrive by 10:45am for the 1pm game, selling tickets to game attendees from doors open at 11:30am and through the end of the 2nd period.
At UBS Arena 2400 Hempstead Turnpike, Elmont, NY 11003
Who
We are looking for 15-20 volunteers for this event, so please invite your friends and family to help!
Volunteers should be 18 years of age or older unless youth volunteers have an onsite chaperone. Minors must be accompanied by a chaperone 1:1 during the game and parents are not able to drop off and pick up on game day.
What else?
Beverages & light snacks will be provided to volunteers by RMHC NYM staff.
After the raffle closes, volunteers are welcome to enjoy the remainder of the game from the concourse.
Event parking is included.
