Who We Are
Our RMHC Ambassadors concentrates efforts in fundraising and volunteer service, and participation in events throughout the calendar year.
Service opportunities are at the very core of the RMHC Ambassadors. All members are encouraged to raise important funds so RMHC NY Metro can continue to provide for the RMH children and their families, who temporarily call this House their home. In addition to fundraising, RMHC Ambassadors comprises some of RMHC NY Metro's most enthusiastic volunteers and will be seen at the House often during mealtimes helping out at one of the many House volunteer opportunities. Although there is no requirement for members to attend a specific number of volunteer events, longtime Crew members would agree that volunteering together is one of the best ways to connect with the mission of the House, the families staying there, and fellow Ambassadors.
What We Do
Our ambassadorsadors represent RMHC New York Metro at schools, corporations, and community events to raise awareness about our mission. They also lead guided tours of our programs for visiting volunteer groups.
