Volunteer: Treats from the Heart <3It is said, that the heart of the home is the kitchen – Welcome to our Kitchen! Share your heart by baking cookies, cakes, pies and more. Any sweet treat is welcome, and our families will appreciate your tasteful love. ❤ Our kitchen is open twice a day for baking. ❤ The kitchen is fully stocked with baking utensils and cooking instruments. ❤ We ask you to provide the ingredients and baking experts. Please take a moment to review our guidelines here. All Students Welcome! ❤ We warmly welcome all primary school students to our baking program; however, we’ve found that this program is particularly impactful for students in 4th grade and above. ❤ All volunteers under the age of 18 years old must be supervised by an adult. Sign Up Is Easy ❤ Select the shift you’d like: • Morning baking: 10am - daily • Afternoon baking: 4pm - daily ❤ The team leader must sign up to reserve the date and shift. Each sign-up is for one group of up to 7 participants only. Individuals may not join other groups. Once the team leader signs up and enters the team name, the system will automatically hold all 7 spots for the entire team Cancellation ❤ If a scheduling conflict arises or you need to cancel your cooking date, please cancel online at least 7 days prior to your reservation, using the link in your confirmation email. In addition, please send an email to lcabble@rmhcnym.org notifying us directly of your cancellation. ❤ Please Note: If you cancel your reserved date but would still like to support our families, please feel free to send a catered meal. We are happy to provide a list of local restaurants that can provide meals to the House. Share The Love ❤ Please take photos of your time with us and share this experience on your social sites. • Tag us on your social sites: #RMHCNYM ❤ We’d love to share the love too. Send an email about your time with us, photos, or video to Cassandra Basile at cbasile@rmhcnym.org and share a little about your experience! Questions?
